Been reading these forums for a long time. Lots of strong opinions. Not a lot of reason.

A collapsing pocket. Let's start there. All of this arguing over who the starting QB reminds me of the Burrow vs Brennan discussions. Y'all were silly then too. Nuss will start when he is the best player in the room. Shhhhhhh. You aren't capable of evaluating QB talent.

It is week ONE under a new system. Stop hitting the panic button. This isn't a discussion forum, its a support group for fatalist crybabies.

being upset about an outcome is not hitting a panic button.

With LSU's pathetic Oline, LSU would have no chance ever without a player of Daniel's skill set. I love Nuss, but I'm also thinking he would have suffered at least 10 sacks and probably injured and out for the year. Daniel's escapability was a good as I've seen in a while. Hopefully our receivers can get off the jams at the line better and get open quicker, because this OLine, especially 61, isn't going to give any QB much time to find an open receiver. FSU jams our receivers, LSU played off 6+ yards off every receiver. That is not the LSU way, and it proved ineffective with FSU's 3rd and long first down conversions. I hate chicken chit defensive football, and that is what I saw in the first half from LSU.

You can tell who had to live through the 90's teams. Josh booty, lou tepper. Everybody back then was jumping with joy when we made the independence bowl.

It took three quarters to figure out maybe running these long developing plays wasn’t the best idea. Those last two drives throwing quick passes and mixing in Daniels feet were really nice. It’s the only way we’ll have a shot at success against teams with a better front 7. This line, at this point, isn’t going to allow time for long developing downfield plays. You have athletes at receiver. Get them the ball and let them be athletes.

There’s honestly no need to discuss Nussmeier anymore this season unless god forbid Daniels gets injured.

You probably said the same thing through the Les Miles era about all the lame quarterbacks we had. If coaches were always right about quarterbacks, Joe Burrow would be working 9 to 5 and no one would know who he was. And remember, Urban was considered one of the best coaches in the business. This whole deal about coaches always make the best decisions is just crazy!
