Leah gets too much unwarranted hate on here - this is her first year covering the program and learning the ins and outs and I think more people should cut her some slack

Y'all getting hard ons parsing every word of a verbal joust between a journalist and a head coach. Who has already proven himself to be a smartass.
You think this makes LSU look bad. But fail to realize the national media would just replay Kelly's halftime interview or maybe rant about his "fake accent" a little more to make a story.
It doesn't really matter. LSU will always be the story. Coach O's "geaux Tigahs" or punching himself in the mouth in a pregame speech. Miles' verbal gobbledygook. The list goes on. I'd rather this be the story than the USA Today talking about players raping co-eds on the reg.

I don't follow her stories enough to pass judgement on her writing abilities, but I do think her comments today at worst, were an ill-conceived attempt at humor with no malice intended. If I am Kelly, I gift her a Timex at the next press conference as both a dig and peace offering.

This is exactly right. A Texas fan sent the video to me this evening. I didn't know who the reporter was until I checked TD. The message is that Brian Kelly has little support in BTR and the media is comfortable disrespecting him.
As for the incident, few women are proficient at trading barbs. They just don't do it much; on the contrary, it's how men communicate with each other on a daily basis. Tensions are high and she should have realized it was a stupid and awkward thing to say.

Get used to Leah Vann. She is a "diversity" hire and as such is bullet proof. She is about as informative as the female sideline reporters that tell us stories during slow times in the game about how the second string left tackle used to go fishing with his grandmother as a kid.

Because she sucks and has an elitist attitude. She came from money like most of these young reporters. Delly was an anomaly. Coach’s kid that happened to be an excellent writer.

She apparently had the biggest set out of anyone in that room. You don’t get to (even jokingly) get on reporters for being late when you couldn’t coach high-school level concepts.
