went to Denver this weekend to see Phish for the first time. I was blown away, the energy at Phish shows is just amazing. Saw thursday-saturday shows. Nothing less than life changing for me. All my friends told me i would love it and they where right. I love the dead but it's going to be real hard for me to spend money to go see dead and Co when i can go to Phish instead.

Dead and Co. is dead. Trey and Co. are such good musicians and have the psychedelic scene on lock. I'm still a huge WSP fan, but Phish continues to elevate and innovate. gotta give them props.

Glad you had a great time. Phish shows are quite the experience, and it doesn't get much crunchier these days than Dick's.
Which night was your favorite?

I went to my first Phish show earlier this year in Orange Beach and I definitely want to go to more. I also saw Dead & Co in Houston in October and while that was great the Phish experience was much better. > THE ENERGY OFF THE WALLS!

Good to see they can still bring it after all these years.

After Dicks every year I go to PT get the best jams of the summer and make a "mixed tape" that I listen to the rest of the year.
Their jamming has gotten back to 90s levels - they just do not jam the whole show. They are selective about where they do the long type 2 jams. Also, Trey has stopped ending jams too early the last few years. He now appears to go out of his way to extend the long jams.
