Meanwhile, Biden Needs Another $47 Billion For Ukraine And COVID, Monkeypox Response

President Joe Biden is asking Congress to provide $13.7 billion in emergency funding for Ukraine as U.S. aid to the war-torn country is running out and Ukrainian forces step up attacks against Russian positions around Kherson.
The request, which comes as lawmakers are preparing to return to Washington, is part of a larger $47.1 billion emergency spending package the White House is proposing to pay for the COVID-19 response, the ongoing monkeypox outbreak and help for recent natural disasters in Kentucky and other states.
The Ukraine funds would provide additional military support, along with intelligence assistance that is credited with helping the Ukrainians score critical battlefield successes, plus economic aid for a country whose economy has been ravaged by the war.

How much will that make so far toward a losing effort.
Border wall, roads, education, law enforcement, crime, drugs all here in the states would be much better ways to spend that money.

As dumb as it is it's still cheaper than us getting actively involved in the conflict.
