Went to subway in Alexandra today and once again they will not honor the coupons they keep sending me . Manager said they didn't have enough help and food cost was too high . Tore my coupons up and they are in the parking lot .

I remember years ago when I was in college, Subway never honored the coupons that were mailed out. They said Subways are franchises and it is entirely up to the owner of the location whether they want to accept the coupons, so most don't. They said corporate sends those coupons out and wants franchisees to accept them, but that it cuts too deeply into their bottom line so they can't.

Not sure which one you sent to, but I stopped in one on my way to Toledo Bend one time. They had more sushi offered than the workers had brain cells.

You would get along with the old lady I saw ripping the workers at a Subway along the interstate somewhere in Arkansas. They didn’t have a certain kind of pickled pepper she wanted, and she went nuts. “This is a Subway, and you should carry all Subway ingredients.” She was still shaking her head in disgust as she drove away.
I was hoping the employee would tell her, “Ma’am, I’ll be sure to bring this up at the next meeting of the board of directors.”
