Anyone here use the lone Wolf climbing sticks? I currently have some Hawk sticks but looking for a new set. Mainly used with saddle and Loc on set ups occasionally. I had one of their climbers for years and it was of great quality. I would assume their sticks are as well. They are bit more pricey. Any other recommendations based on your experience are welcome.

I use the EWO one stick and it is awesome. Bites to the tree hard and the standoffs give plenty room off of the tree.

I still prefer my Muddy Pro. Not the lightest thing out there, but they're secure and quick. Once I got used to the double step, never could go back to a single. FWIW, I don't do a whole lot of mobile hunting.

DO you like the way they "nest " together for packing in? Seems to be a fairly solid method they use.

I have the XOP double step short sticks. I bought the Vanish combo and they attach to the stand with a j-hook, sweet set up. I can get plenty high enough with the 4 short sticks. They lock together great and have been very durable.

nyone here use the lone Wolf climbing sticks?

One of my buddies bought 4 of the Lone Wolf Custom Gear sticks and I got to handle them. Comparing them to my current Muddy Pros I was amazed. They're about half the weight and pack together easily.

If you're wanting the old school lone wolf sticks they are now made by Novix.

the Novix minis are probably the best "cheap" sticks IMO

any of the high end sticks (LWCG, Shikar, Beast, EWO) are going to be noticeably lighter and more packable

just depends on how much you care about that stuff

I'd stay away from Tethr'd right now. They seem to be having all kinds of issues

I have 3 sets of sticks right now....Tethrd Skeletors, 32" lone wolf's (not lwcg) and another set of lone wolfs that I cut down to 24". I only have 2 loc ons for my run and gun setups and find myself using the 32" for one stand and the skeletors for the other. At the end of last season I found myself using the Skeletors more than the others, probably due to the packability and double steps. Thinking about selling my 24" lone wolfs to open up some spending money for new gear for this season.

I like how they nest but I have the old school gen 1s, and my lock ons are all the old lone wolf copies they first made when they were getting sued. All good stuff but not as nice as b max setup, i need to get them to clip to my stand better. The double steps make more sense to me now than the singles.

Between the GF and I, we have three sets of HH. We both like them a lot and use them with lithe Alpha lock on.
I also bought a Cruzr saddle that I will be trying this year.
