Cortez Hankton, LSU passing game coordinator/wide receivers: From the Ivy League to the SEC, Hankton has experience developing WRs, which paid off at his previous stop at Georgia, where the depth of the position was severely tested.

Why do they have to be "Black" coaches and not just coaches? Asking for a friend.

Remember when it was this country’s goal to have a “color-blind” society? Now it’s just the opposite. Now, race MUST be injected into everything subject and conversation. MLK is spinning like a lathe.

You're right, its not a big deal...but everybody wants to be equal, and I'm all for that, but yet they're still "black coaches" instead of "really good coaches who deserve to move up in coaching ranks" js

Ask yourself, would it be a big deal if SI were to write an article “The White Coaches Who Should Be on Decision-Makers’ Radars this College Season?” How would that fly?

Great recruiter but so is Frank Wilson.

I don’t Get why a small school would hire a position coach because they think they will recruit well

You’re gonna get the same c level players. Need someone to put coach your peers.

Sounds like he’s just a legit coach regardless of race.
