I want to buy a whole slab. Thick and fatty. Any suggestions?

Costco sells pork bellies, it's fun to cure them yourself.

Yep, and they smoke in just a couple of hours. You only need to bring it up to 150 degrees.
A 3 pound slab fits perfectly in a gallon zip lock. Turn it over once a day and you have it cured in 6 or 6 days.

I used to make my own bacon using bellies from Costco. I wish we had one around here so I could make more.

Yep - echoing what everyone else is saying: started making my own from Costco pork bellies this year and won't go back.
Throw a 3-5lb portion in a gallon ziploc with some curing salt and any other ingredients, pull after a week or two, depending on your size and smoke to 145F.

I would love a slab of already cured and smoked bacon!

Restaurant depot has a brand named Leidy’s who sells whole slab bacon, but not sure if it’s in stock in town. Your best bet is to check with anyone who supplies restaurants and institutions. Talk to local grocery meat departments and ask if they can order one.

I buy Pork Bellies from Costco and cut in half to make Burnt Ends and Bacon. It’s easy and fun. Get a meat slicer btw.

That's what I usually do, but the cost of pork bellies has been close to the cost of their Kirkland Thick Sliced Bacon sold in two 1 1/2 lb. packages, so I've just been buying the already made bacon.

Anybody tried the Teets bacon? Looks good.
