I’m a little concerned with Jordan Travis. Don’t care if he was a 3 star. He can do things with his feet to break down the defense.

LSUs roster last year was only overmatched by 1-2 teams and yet we finished 6-7. Stars only matter when those players reach their potential within the system.

WR Johnny Wilson is 6’7” 235 lbs and has been praised during their camp.
It will be interesting to see him matched up against a big corner like Garner. It could be a problem if Wilson plays in the slot.

Just checked it was Cam Akers, Marvin Wilson (BBQ Chicken), and 2 other guys who I forgot existed.

I think you’ll be surprised. He’s certainly not a proven pocket passer, but he’s smart with the football, throws a nice deep ball, and is extremely dangerous when he breaks contain. We’re all hoping he’s gotten a bit more comfortable/confident standing in and going through his reads, but he’s a playmaker. When he’s been healthy and starting, we’re well above .500 the past couple years. When he hasn’t…it’s been bad. The hope is that that he’s going to have significantly more help around him this year.
