What the heck is this whole "LSU fans smells like corn dogs" mess? I really makes no sense it's not funny ... I could at least laugh at a good one, but this is like saying Auburn fans smell like rotten eggs ... I mean ... what's the point here? am I missing something?!

Because of the fried foods, right? I guess no one in Alabama ever eats fried foods. I would say Louisiana cuisine is much more diverse. You sir are FAIL.

David and Thomas Boyd used to refer to William Tecumseh "corndog" Sherman back in the 1860s. They were frying up some catfish and Sherman was like...I bet it'd taste better if we stuck a weinie some of that batter and fried it up. The Boyds were like...what a corndog. Sherman was pissed so he referred to all LSU fans as corndogs...just being childish and insecure. History is a bitch.

Now he must learn what the german references mean.

I will leave him on his own for that.

The South Carolina state fair must have tried to make us feel at home. There were at least a dozen corndog trailers at the fair. I got a chance to smell what we are supposed to smell like. I saw many S. Carolina fans eating them. Shouldn't they smell like corndogs to?

just to make it easy and hopefully end this thread.

from the link provided. this is the correct explanation.

quote:

it was something that Oklahoma fans used to say about Nebraska back when they were relevent (which actually makes since). It was taken up by Auburn fans, who said every time LSU played in Auburn, it looked like the carnival was coming to town, and the carnival smells like corn dogs. Just chalk it up to Auburn fans being idiots.

but add to that nebraska's the cornhuskers. and then it all makes sense.

Consider the source as an uniformed idiot and move on in life.
Maybe ask them if they would buy you a corn dog today and you will gladly repay them Tuesday.
(joke for the aged on the board).
