I agree, but it could depend on how he plays this. We all know the sham-committee thoroughly vets witnesses to make sure they only "testify" to shite that helps their case. Pence could become a national hero by pretending to help their cause only to do an about-face during his actual, recorded testimony. And even if it doesn't work, Pence knows that this committee has already jumped the shark. Few people are paying attention anymore so he could show up wearing literally nothing but a sombrero and a candy necklace and maybe 90% of Americans will even know about it.

This. If they really thought there was any chance Pence could say anything to help smear Trump, they would have done so already.
