because of Trump's RICO suit?

Regardless of the classification of the documents...could the DOJ have boxed themselves in?

Could this be why they want to seal the affidavit?

Folks need to understand that the law does not apply equally. Which also means the FBI will not follow the same rules.

Dems don't play by the rules(laws). They do push whatever they want, and if/when there is pushback, they play the victim card. You are seeing it in real time and Rs have their thumbs up their butts. THAT is reality.

Garland claims there are 11 boxes of Top Secret, Secret and confidential papers. Are all of those spoiled now?

If we didn't have a two-tiered justice system...probably.

there are 6 or 8 such questions.
who besides trump used the reading library?

what happened to the Chinese couple arrested skulking around there?

the legal team would need to get actual declassification of something damning before they could use it.
so I do not expect anything like that to happen.

the three crimes do not require security clearance sci.

I think they'll be glad they got it back but they will never be able to count on secrecy for those boxes. trump ruined that. we'll never know why trump stole govt secrets.

Presidents argue with the Nat archives after they leave. Obama spent millions in court fighting them. It rarely goes to court they negotiate. Presidents want certain archives for a book.

Trump may need his for a lawsuit to clear his name against the same exact DOJ division that raided him.

The DOJ/FBI has never gotten involved it (like Trump in June, never makes it in the news) The Archives people have never referred classified documents to the DOJ UNTIL NOW.

Trump did not pack it the GSA did. All Presidents have had classified documents shipped. BECAUSE THEY ARE THE PRESIDENT. THEY DON'T have to be marked declassified to please some archive agency.

I would guess...

As in one of the "special" kids that rode the short bus?

I'll bet he licked a window or 2.

Garland says the warrant was very limited, but this was in reality a 4 year limit, just criminal on its face, in scope. And to say it was very limited is an outright lie….

Is this another “watermark ballot” thread?

Look. This is our fault.

We let the swamp get this big.
1776 patriot didn’t sit on his arse waiting for a shelter in place tweet or the storm is upon us tweet.

Trump tried to show us the way. We did not sack up.

It’s on us. This is now mainstream

Then so did obama. Millions of them. How many boxes might be seized in a raid? [we'll never know ]

Anyway, if we're using the dem's double standard here...

The MAGA guy gets a wink and nod because hope-n-change guy is anti-America.

I have a feeling that you did not put in nearly half that much thought and consideration into the server that Hillary Clinton had.

This guy is a remarkably bad attorney General.

We've seen some bad attorney generals in the past but honestly can't think of one so bad.

And damn Celticdog, I know you are liberal but please think things through. Your posts in the topic are literally headlines from democratic underground.

I thought you were smarter than this. I guess you have shifted left now as well.
