UClub home builders/interior designers

I know there's several old threads on this topic. Please forgive me for creating another one. I've sifted through them, and they were somewhat helpful. I recently purchased a lot in UClub, and I'm in the market for a home builder and possibly an interior designer. I've never gone through this process before and would appreciate any help/advice from those who have. I hired an architect and am in the earliest part of the design stage. I'd love to hear personal experiences from others who have gone through this process, pros/cons of whatever builder you used, and whether you used an interior designer throughout the process or wish you did/didn't. Any and all advice is welcome. Thanks.

My ex father in-law-bought property there, kept it a year, then sold it for almost double. All I got.

UClub is for people too poor for CCLA.

You need a golf cart with a lift and a
light bar before you worry about all that, baw.

Can you explain what Uclub is? Someone said congrats on being poor. Is it a mobile home lot? Doesn't sound like it if you have an architect and potential need for interior design.
I'm working on my first significant rental property development right now, so I'm curious about general real estate/property things

It’s a high end mobile home lot near University High School.

Pick a builder before you get too far along with the architect if you want to stay close to original budget. Most architects base a home design on cost/SF, but then add pool, lanai, outdoor kitchen, 60” range etc and then wonder why the construction estimates come in 50% over the budget you told him. Trust me I know from experience lol.

Prepare to pay around $100k for the services of an interior designer for a whole home design

My wife isn’t an interior designer by trade but loves doing that on the side and won’t cost you nearly as much as a “professional.”

Tell your wife that I’m not a gynecologist by trade but I love doing that on the side and won’t cost her nearly as much as a “professional.”
