So, they do know for a fact that at least one (probably more) social media post was made promoting a party to the general public. That voids the contract right there. They also know for a fact, verified by police, that at least 500 people showed up for the party. Not what ConZ said about estimating attendance, guessing and shite, they laid eyes on at least 500 people in the parking lot. That, too, voids the contract as the agreement was for 250 people and no admission would be charged. These assholes were trying to skin the park for double the people they actually paid for.
Someone from the park, evidently, got fed up with the bullshite and said something they probably shouldn't have on social media. I hate that, but it doesn't have a damn thing to do with the fact that these assholes made decisions that led to actions that directly and unquestionably voided their contract. Hell, if we read the fine print we would probably find that the park wasn't even required to refund their money after the bullshite they pulled. Fire the employee who made the post that hurt their feelings, tell the "family" to frick off, and keep rolling.
Long story short, the brain trust crying racism voided their contract in more than one way and now they want to cry about it.
ETA: If I had a kid having a birthday party at a movie theater, and I paid in advance for 25 people to watch the movie, but 50+ kids showed up to the party, would I be justified in being pissed when the theater doesn't allow my party in because I only paid for half the little shits that showed up? Should I get my feelings hurt and cry to a lawyer and the media? Or should I accept the fact that I am a dumbass who attempted to grift a movie theater and chalk it up to a learning experience?

In a truly 'equitable' world they get no refund and have to cover additional expenses of the water park through the numerous breaches of contract, not the other way around.
And the employee that hurt feelings stays on with a lecture about how nothing good can come from a Facebook post, especially regarding the protected demographic.
But we all know how these things actually play out in the court of public opinion, we've seen it too many times. Water park will grovel and apologize, promise sensitivity training then cut a fat check to the family and their grifting lawyers.
The supply of racism will never keep up with the demand. Its great business.
