...you will go to jail. I am an Independent who leans Republican in most cases....If Obama...Hillary...Bush...Clinton....Reagan or any other person in the United States took classified documents and then refused to return them....they should go to jail. This is not a Democrat or Republican BS....it's the friggin law ! Stop the stupid ! The classified papers were so classified that some could not even be described. The FBI director...he was appointed by (t)rump and (t)rump praised him...until he held him accountable to the law.

Doesn't the President have the ability to de-classify docs and/or information at any time?

Hillary used an insecure private email server for years to send/ receive classified info (which would be the equivalent of leaving classified docs sitting out on your front yard) then deleted them when ordered to hand them over.

Trump either has documents that the MIC declared classified after the fact, or the MIC claims he had but destroyed.
Either way their history of handling classified material by both leaking it and selective prosecution for handling it- combined with their history of outright fabrications of documents to obtain warrants makes this whole thing reek. And at least half the country can smell the bullshite.
