Candidates matter and if the GOP had fielded even an average candidate this race could have been competitive.

Rich/wealthy people are different than the rest of us. They set up trust funds for their kids when they are born. When they turn a certain age they get a monthly allowance/paycheck. The more in the trust fund the bigger the allowance.
It sucks, but that is how it works.
In the early 80’s Trumps Trust Fund allowance was $30,000 to $200,000.
Very few states if any would elect John Fetterman. In deep blue states he wouldn’t make it out of the primary. The only reason he can win is because Oz is just as bad a candidate.

So Trump was groomed be a billionaire by his father, and be a business leader. A pretty good investment by his dad, I'd say.
And otherwise, we get a guy working in a do nothing political job in the tiniest of towns for $150 a week job and supported by his family to raise a politician.
Do you see what's wrong with that picture?
Trump is the ideal of money, confidence, job creation and money churn for a strong economy.
Fetterman is a feckless boob with no hard work, no "put it on the line". Just brought up to join in the grift, living life easy as a politician.

Some of the most prominent Democrats (Biden, Sanders, Warren, Pelosi, etc.) have never held real jobs. They don't know what it's like to punch a clock, sweat, make payroll, etc., yet they get to dictate to the rest of us how to live.
