Which LA prospects do you think we have a chance to flip, and which ones should the staff prioritize flipping? Are any of them off the table?

I’m not sure if it’s possible, but I would prioritize flipping Williams and either Curtis or Ausberry, whichever one seems more likely.

Williams and Matthews are the only ones worth any effort

I think Derek Williams will be an absolute baller, we really could use him

Also, I don’t think Arch, Tackett, or Ausberry leaving the state makes our staff sweat at all

He’s not but we didn’t make his top 3 or whatever

I agree with Lester here, but unfortunately I don't see it happening. Think the kid wants out of BR and I can't say I blame him. Tennessee and living in Knoxville seems to be winning him over. He was saying good things about LSU yesterday though during Shelton's commitment extravaganza....so maybe there's a chance.

There is no limit on how many you can sign as long as you don’t go over the 85 man limit for your team

I think we chose Parker and Prean over him. He had a rough camp

Derek Williams is priority number one. I’m not sure they’ll pursue anyone else committed elsewhere if they can land Toviano, Harbor, K. Jackson, Prean, Collins, Chester, and Heard. Jordan Matthews would be the only other one and even that’s a long shot. The Ausberry, Holstein, and Curtis trains have left the station. They’ll save a few spots for portal guys too.

Most important flip to me would be Derrick Williams. I think you could make an argument that he’s the best football player in the state.

Why limit it to just Louisiana kids. They are hitting the Dallas/Ft.Worth area hard right now, this cycle and next.

Trying to flip the TE committed to Tcu and a nickel corner committed to a&m.

Matthews is the only one where we are completely off the radar that we possibly can turn imo. When Rickie commits I think he will at least consider us.

Would love to get Williams. Just a guess here, but I think Texas probably is ponying up a very large Nil deal for him that so far we are not matching.

Matthews is committing to either Texas, Tennessee, or Michigan on Monday Aug. 15th.

We could probably sign 27 then take another 7 to 10 in the portal.
Not at 85 and between graduates, NFL and fall out, we should have plenty of spots.
Good news is that we have a coaching staff that can figure it out and plan ahead.

Knoxville is not any better a place to live than Baton Rouge my man, you ever been there?
