Official "I'm out" Post in OP

Not that any of you really care, but I'm out and wanted to officially say goodbye to the board. Was a fun time here, made some friends, had a good time talking about or arguing about games.
I made a decision a few months ago that I was going to be done by the time Starfield released and personally didn't want to be a 46 year old posting on a message board (not 54 years old, td01241).
No jeff, I didn't stop because he told everyone he bought me a game
Story behind that is he was going on and on about buying FFXVI for someone, no one took him up so I chimed in, fully expecting him to be BS'ing everyone. Sure enough, he came through, nice gesture, and that's it. I created an email for that sole purpose (and deleted it recently, td), and I will just say that he's as intense in email as he is here, but he didn't lose his crap when I disagreed with him on something. I don't know what his schtick is, but I wish him well.
td01241, let me give you a bit of advice a few posters gave me when I first started off here, shout out to Sad Banana in particular, stop taking this so seriously. Maybe you're having fun with this, and that's fine, but none of this means anything. Stop losing your mind any time someone disagrees with you. You made your bed at this place and posters on the GB aren't going to forget it for a while. Best thing you can do is turn over a new leaf, just talk about games in a general level fashion, use punctuation, and eventually people will forget. Thanks for the game (I got bored with it and not sure I'll finish) and enjoy your time here. It wasn't what it used to be, but it's still a fun place to talk about games.
If anyone wants to do a release thread, I left the link I've been pulling from. Have at it.
Take care, everyone.
Also, I'm really liking Starfield. It has it's issues, I'll admit, but being a Bethesda apologist, they didn't have to do a lot for me to like this game. It hasn't grabbed me like Skyrim or Fallout 4, but 4 took a while as well so it's just a matter of finding my groove in it.
I would do shoutouts to people (I love you nappy), but I'll forget someone and I just don't have the time for all of it
I also liked the idea of leaving my post count at 77077, so that's why I'm editing this one. I had the thought of getting it to 77777 but no way I was going to last that long.

This game is great, but why does it need to be released on next-gen consoles?

Valkyrie Elysium art style looks awesome.
Hard to get into a game where you have to play as a female though.

quote:Releases tomorrow. Looks good so far, with balance between the original PS1 unit-based leveling and the PSP remake class-based leveling, updated crafting, skills management, and improved AI. If this does well enough this time, maybe Square will finally let Matsuno and crew make Episode VIII and conclude the Ogre Battle Saga.
Tactics Ogre: Reborn (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, PC) – November 11
