I get your point but you have to admit the PGA’s essentially zero tolerance policy is a little ridiculous.

A lifetime ban and immediate banishment for all guys who joined was coming out pretty hot and now I feel like they are going to have to eventually reel it back.

They may not miss guys like Phil, DJ, Poulter who are on the back end of their careers. But they were counting on guys like Bryson, Reed, Gooch, several others who still may have 20 years of pro golf left not making the jump and they did. Are they really going to ban these guys in their 20’s and early 30’s for life?

They came out too strong with their punishments, that was their mistake IMO

I agree.

My point was on the timing of the suit.

There's no secret that Norman hates the Tour dating back to Finchem and would love to stick it to the Tour.

They are wanting to disrupt the season ending events and its the wrong time with emotions so high.

If there is an injuction would it be surprising if a fight broke out between the players.

Bryson, Reed, Gooch,

I’ll give you Bryson but Reed is completely unlikeable and for every gooch LIV has the tour has a zalatoris, homa, and countless other young stars.

I think it would be pretty great if they just pulled their cards, and made them requalify through Q-School/KF like the rest of the hopefuls.

Would also boost attendance/sponsorships at those events.

Plus who wouldn’t get a thrill out of watching some “nobody” drain a snake to keep Patrick Reed from making it back to The Show.

The PGA tour has always had a zero exemption policy for US based events. Players couldn't /can't play in ...charity events when a tour event is being conducted. The Tavistock cup.. Between, initially, Isleworth and Lake Nona's pros... Had to be played on Mon and Tues to avoid the conflict with the rules. This has been a long standing rule with zero exemptions. Conflicting events overseas....yes there have been exemptions. I don't see why the exemption thing is an issue. The PGA Tour hasn't alteres policy to single out LIV. The LIV isn't just overseas (if it where... Then exemptions may have been granted ) but does the LIV want players on 5 exemption status or to play vall the LIV events plus what vever events players want to play on the PGA Tour... That don't conflict with contractual obligations to play in the LIV?

"Greg Norman is an idiot and is a bitter old man who was overrated anyway. Brandel speaks the truth. All these dudes are washed, Mickleson, Dustin and Koepka have't won crap. Davis Love knows what he's talking about."
