Maybe I should have made that 2016, but the only things I really remember from 2017 are the Troy Loss and the Auburn win.

Everything else is just such a blur. Obviously certain things stick out, but all in all everything seems so....fuzzy.

I can tell you what happened in pretty much every lsu game vs an sec opponent from 2003-present except for 2014-2016. Those years are all a blur. I think it’s a combo of being so mediocre those years and every game being the same, which was run fournette till he drops and try to hit a deep ball off play action, combined with being in my mid 20s and partying prime which also caused the haze. There’s some memorable games like 2014 ole miss and 2015 florida but all the others I really have to think about

2017 is easy to remember because it was the one year with Canada and the weird offense

I remember beating Syracuse and Florida but don’t remember details about the games.

My favorite game in that stretch was probably the 2014 Ole Miss game.

Man I was thinking the same exact thing.

But then again watching Jennings and Harris at QB for a couple of those years will make you want to forget lol

No, there was a definitive line in there where we finally got fricking rid of the Les Miles Offense and its creator

2015 was a ton of fun before the wheels fell off

LSU was 7-0 and #2 in the first CFP poll going to Tuscaloosa.

For me it’s 2008-2010 and 2012-2017. Or maybe I have memory loss

I remember bits and pieces but nothing in those years really stands out. I just remember being frustrated as hell with the offense (rinse and repeat)

I was a senior in college in the 08 season and in grad school 09 and 10 seasons.

I never drank more than those years and I don’t remember shite

2014 was the year of Dak Prescott destroying LSU in the newly expanded stadium and MSU becoming #1 in the country, the Auburn blowout, upsetting Ole Miss the night Les’ mom passed away with game day on campus, almost beating Alabama, and a horribly depressing loss to ND in the bowl

2015 was the year of Steele and O and a run to 7-0 with Fournette having a legendary heisman campaign before Les almost getting fired after losing three in a row and then dismantling Patrick Mahomes’ Red Raiders in the Texas bowl

2016 was the year of the Wisconsin debacle, Les firing, interim O, and the Jimbo/Tom Herman fiasco. Then beating Lamar Jackson’s Cardinals.

2017 was the Canada/O feud with the loss to Troy and the upset against Auburn and losing to ND again in a bowl game.

Then Joe came along

2014 we had Bama beat at home before the BS unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that pushed us back out of FG range followed by terrible prevent defense. Had them beat in 2012 and 2014 at home and just couldn't finish.

Became so stale and predictable. We kept our season tickets but did quite a few beach vacations.

I was a student during these years. My senior year (2018) was much better. Got Joe, had a solid season. Awesome win over Miami to start the season (Freds was electric). Walk off FG by Cole Tracy against Auburn (more electricity at Freds - lots of Screwdrivers), kicked Ole Miss's arse, Very tough loss to Florida (INT in the 4th quarter - this one was gut wrenching), then came ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER against #2 UGA - day game in tValley). Got blown out by Bama 29-0. and then the 74-72 TAMU game (bullshite) with the season finale bowl game against "National Champs" UCF

Y'all remember all the hand wringing from 2013-2015 about tDecline? It definitely happened lol. That was a painful stretch. In some ways I almost prefer the last two years to that period because we were able to rip the bandaid off.

One of the worst. The off-season hype had led us to believe we may see some change. 2 offensive possessions in, we had our heads in our laps. That was a tough road trip drive back home.
