If that is the worst regret you have you are doing just fine

I dunno. For some reason, that struck me as particularly hurtful.

Not selling a buttload of Shopify stock that I bought for $100 a share a few years ago for $1700 a share last year.
It's still about $300(adj $30) so I guess I still shouldn't complain.

When I was about 15, some buddies and I shot up many, many, many car carriers on a train that came by us while we were hiking. I bet we shot 200+ rifle rounds into those carriers. I still half expect the police to show up at my door some day.

Stole money to gamble. Bad gambling problem in my mid 20’s. I’m ashamed of it

Diving into my fifth pie during a contest, I wanted revenge on the town so I began to imagine that I wasn't eating pies. I pretended I was eating cow-plops, and rat guts in blueberry sauce.

Slowly, a sound started to build in my stomach. A strange and scary sound, like a log truck coming at you at a hundred miles-an-hour. Suddenly, I opened my mouth, and before Bill Travis knew it - he was covered with five pies worth of used blueberries. The women in the audience screamed. Bossman Bob Cormier took one look at Bill Travis and barfed on Principal Wiggins, who barfed on the lumberjack that was sitting next to him. Mayor Grundy barfed on his wife's tits. But when the smell hit the crowd, that's when my plan really started to work. Girlfriends barfed on boyfriends. Kids barfed on their parents. A fat lady barfed in her purse. The Donnelley twins barfed on each other, and the Women's Auxiliary barfed all over the Benevolent Order of Antelopes. And I just sat back and enjoyed what I’d created-a complete and total barf-o-rama.

Only reason I say it doesn't fit this thread entirely, I don't think of it much or really regret as it wasn't really dumb in that I had no clue whatsoever BTC was, it was just a vehicle to get the money online to play poker.

I did the exact same but with 5Dimes and a smaller amount. I'd be a half-millionaire.

It was 1996 at San Manuel Indian Casino. Blackjack tables allowed players to become the banker for the table. I bought in with $1500 and the table got hot. Lost the $1500 in like 6 minutes.

The older you get, the more you realize every single decision you've ever made in life made you who you are today

I regret every decision and who I am today. Sometimes I think slipping away into nothing would be easier.

You know if I wasn’t here anymore the people in my life I constantly let down would probably be happier. At minimum my wife and kids would benefit from the life insurance. The only thing keeping me from veering under an 18wheeler on I-10 everyday is the depressing thought that I’d frick that up too and wake up in the ER too debilitated and paralyzed to finish the job.

You know what the worst part is? I love my wife. I wish I never convinced her to marry me. She’s an amazing woman. and I know for sure she and the kids would be better off without me.

It's almost never too late to turn things around but you have to completely swallow your pride and your ego and if you are sincere you won't regret it.

Taking my ex wife for granted and assuming everything was ok when it wasn’t. Ignored her repeatedly telling me to go to counseling or she was leaving.

Been divorced for 8 years now but I have 3 great kids and a beautiful young fiancée

Letting my ex GF come back after catching her cheating. She just kept on doing the same shite but in a different town. I really wanna tell her current BF to watch out but it’s none of my business let that shite burn on its own.
