Apparently I was afraid of King Triton
Maybe it was because of this

I was 6 when Freddy extended his extra long arms out in the original Nightmare on Elm Street. Scared the everliving shite out of me.

Actually stayed at the Overlook/Stanley Hotel a month ago with the parents. Fun experience, but the maze is a let down.

And got to give it to Ursula. Ursula is just terrifying and gives you for sure the worst fate:
Seriously, how stupid do you have to be to go past that and still agree to a potential fate like that? Think of the PTSD from being turned into that. And why the frick didn’t King Triton do anything about that unless he was knowingly letting Ursula run a Darwin Award program right until the moment his daughter got coiled into it?

It's the hotel that inspired the story, but wasn't used in the film. The Stanley was used in Dumb and Dumber, though.
I took a tour of the place when I was in Estes Park - really interesting tour with lots of history.

I would assume Wicked Witch of the West because most kids have watched Oz.
She was aggressively terrifying for a kid.
Compared to the North...
The juxtaposition was genius in creating the terrorfying factor.
