LIV is a mess. No one cares where Bubba plays. Good riddance.

So they got a 43 year old with a bad knee who hasn't won since 2018.

He fits their model of trying to get any past major champion they can regardless of form or where they are in their career.

They seem to be assembling quite the squad of former champions

I don’t hop in the Liv vs Tour debates at all but it says a ton that this is considered big news for them? Bubba isn’t even newsworthy on the PGA tour anymore. Just bizarre signings to say the least so far.

Beginning to think that LIV is really trying to compete with the Champions Tour, not the PGA tour.

I agree which is why the PGA's stance on it is absolutely stupid.

Regardless of if someone is washed up or not, folks love watching tournaments with Bubba type players in the top 5 going in to a Sunday. It adds some excitement.

I dont care if LIV succeeds or not, I just dont want to watch a bunch of bums hacking around on Sunday afternoon because the PGA banned all good ones that left.

Why? Even if the PGA didn't ban them, they probably wouldn't have much room to play any PGA events after their 14 LIV event obligation next year.

The only good thing I see about the LIV tour so far is they are taking all the unlikable assholes off the PGA tour.

Bubba is still number 86 in the world, has two green jackets, and brings a ton of eyeballs from the normies. This isn't as insignificant as some will try and make it look.

I wonder how the Masters feels about so many of their past champions with lifetime playing exemptions defecting. Interested to see if they still let them play while the other Majors try to ban the defectors.

That’s the first time I’ve seen this discussed I think. My first thought was the Masters would definitely invite them back. They have F U significance over the PGA and LIV both I would think. They will obviously do WTF they want to. I’m very interested in it

Has Liv now taken every single one of the dickheads on tour? Na, dechambeau, reed, poulter, koepka, bubba, fake Phil…

Liv wants the most recognizable names it can get right now. They will take the most talented guys down the road.

You’re putting way too much stock into Bubbas draw. You’re living in 2018. It doesn’t really matter to me where he is ranked - he’s not a relevant player even monthly on the pga tour.
