If anybody has any tips for me, it would be much appreciated. Would love to go on a beach trip and be able to take my dog along with me.

The worst is people on Facebook asking for arbitrary recommendations. Surely you have the internet to utilize options and customer reviews, which many apps/websites actually aggregates all the user reviews and creates a score for a business.

Leave your ugly, smelly dog at home.

In all seriousness, the beach is way too hot for most dogs unless they love the water and they have plenty of drinkable water as well. I always feel kinda bad seeing some miserable dog laying in the hot sand next to their owner's chair.

That said, Cape San Blas is known for being a dog friendly beach. It's about 7 hours from BR, so you have to go further than OB/Pensacola.

Pensacola has two dog friendly beaches, all Fort Morgan beaches are dog friendly but that is about all in that part of the world.

Fort Morgan beaches look like a dog park on certain stretches

If you go to dauphin to Pensacola in the fall, you can pretty much bring your dog on any beach if you’re not an a-hole about it

In that area Fort Morgan is your best option. Also don't do a hotel with your dog at the beach, get a house/condo.

Dauphine Island is another good option for dogs.
