Thanks for the responses on the stadiums. 4 adults and two kids ( 10 and 7 ) best way to get to and from the airport on Saturday and Tuesday.

Take the El so worth it and easy. Buy your passes before you leave and they come up on your Apple Wallet, don't need to do anything but tap your phone on the turnstile.

With 2 kids and luggage? Would not be my first choice.
We booked a private car from In Chicago Sedan and Limo when we were there last month. I think it cost about $60 from our hotel to O'Hare, which is about the same as an Uber would have cost, but it was a nicer vehicle and prebooked pickup time. Would do this again.

Not even necessary - you can use any card in your Apple Wallet or physical CC with tap-to-pay.

Blue Line is cheapest and, sometimes, faster, but Saturday train can be a bit more crowded than you'd expect, especially as you near Logan Square. A lot of neighborhoods with bars and restaurants between there and Grand. With six people, including luggage, I'm inclined to say that you'll be a less stressed splitting up in a couple Ubers or arranging a private van. Going back to ORD on Tuesday, I wouldn't change my answer, either. Your life will be easier arranging for a private van or rideshare to/from ORD.

We got a escalade to bring us. The ride from Ohare to the Intercontinental took almost as long as the flight. (Rush hour) I'll take the train next time.

Depends on where downtown. If your hotel is across the street from the station, take the L. If you have to transfer and/or walk 5 blocks, get a private car

Cab or Lyft/Uber.
$50-$70 but better than $10 and riding on the ghetto CTA Blue line.

Ubered the time we flew into O'Hare....
We didn't "trust" the train system that time we went, and we learned how easy it is to use...used it the other 2 times we went to Chi...
totally up to you and time of the year... covid changed alot, used ubers alot less during these past few trips due to ubers in the city being alot more expensive.

How did you like the intercontinental? Staying there with my family next month.

The L is the best way to get to and from both Ohare and Midway. Incredibly easy and yes it's safe. You wouldn't be the only ones on it with luggage from Ohare.
