For those of you over age 50-55....did you ever think you would see the fall of America?

The events we've witnessed the past 30 years and more specifically events like the Jan 6th Committee/investigation is the kinda shite we would see Soviet Union/China/North Korea/Iran, etc. using against political dissidents who tried to stand against the communist/authoritarian regimes.
Every person who's been targeted by the anti Trump forces has been a patriot who stood against the DC Elites and their Swamp System. From Jerome Corsi to Steve Bannon, Peter Navarro, Carter Page, Roger Stone, General Flynn, etc.....they all had something in common beyond being simply America First patriots.....they spoke out against China/CCP. Is it mere coincidence these people have been targeted by the Swamp System protection apparatus (DOJ/FBI)? I'm sure the CCP are delighted a kangaroo court in the US is trying to crush two of the most vocal anti CCP voices in the world...Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro. I believe both of these men were sanctioned by the CCP, (I know Bannon is) and can not step foot in China.
I just find it really interesting the more the America First movement points out the corruption of our government and many of our major institutions by CCP influence and money the more they are being targeted....hmmm.

I lived through the Missiles of October, 1962. I honestly didn't think I would see 1963.

Not a good time to raise a couple of children. Much relief when it was resolved.
As for the OP = no, I never thought I'd live to see this day - that is right up until the early summer of '20. The only bright spot since '20 has been the LSU nat'l championship.

Being a high school/college kid in the 80’s, I would’ve never thought the country would have such low morale forty years later…
This country was so upbeat in that decade… and now it’s shite… We need another renewal of those times again..

Pueblo and Vietnam were worrisome, but America would survive.
Nowadays, we have a situation where we have to define "America" to see whether 'survival' is even worthwhile.
As for me, I don't want to be here if this crap continues (because it will only get worse)

Never cared much for music at all when I was young and referred to what became 'country' as 'hillbilly.'

i never in my life thought there were so many people who not only celebrate, but actively cheer on the grooming of kids by pedophiles, or that teachers who hate america are allowed to teach in schools and teach kids that america is bad and racist and it needs to be destryed.
the left has taken the lesson from arabs brainwashing their kids in school to become martars for the cause and suicide bombers, and they applied it to our schools through teachers unions to preach endless propaganda and hate for america to turn american kids into domestic terrorists who will gladly vote for anyone or anything that wants to destroy america
