I have the badlands and yeah I like mine. But there a few engineering design flaws. The hardtops make a very distinct popping noise. But there are a bunch of threads / videos out there on how to fix it. It’s an easy fix. Also I had to add a strip of weatherstripping where the tailgate meets the rear window. It was making a sound similar to a case of plastic water bottles moving around. But the weatherstripping eliminated the noise completely.
I also have the 2.7. Close to 10k miles and runs great. There was an issue with the 2.7 having faulty valves. But every engine that had that problem was built within a three month window. There were no engine failures before that window or any since.
