Hate to be that guy but, while extremely unlikely, 3 points at Newcastle on Saturday and we may have something to play for

We win our game in hand and we're 6 points off of 4th with 16 games left. Everything to play for.

We were lucky to not concede right before our first goal.

I thought we played with a bit more bite. Still struggled at times to really create a chance, but we could have scored a couple of more. Effort was there. Just have to keep that part up.

Guys looked in a much better rhythm
The Salah-Nunez-Gapko are a great front three

TBF, it would've been unlucky if they did score. They didn't have a sniff at goal - that shot came out of nowhere. Our counter and score was deserved based on the run of play.

Starting to feel like Gakpo is the Bobby replacement. If so, can Nunez play on the right with Diaz on the left? We have a bunch of guys who play on the left. Just wonder who is the backup to Mo.

‘pool is going to batter Madrid I feel. They are getting hot at the right time while Madrid has been iffy all season. Also that revenge factor is there as well

Awesome to see this team come together.

Alison was awesome - saved us early especially.

Baj was great.

TAAs move to space during the first goal sequence so that he had the time to make that master pass to Nunez was fantastic.

They all seemed to be in. And I think the front three is coming together, just in time for some replacements to get healthy. Just hoping Nunez's shoulder isn't something that keeps him out.

I worry they’re going to cut right thru our midfield. They’ve shut us out the last two times we played. Somehow find a way I guess.

At this point it looks like Liverpool’s starting players are gonna be available for the domestic cups next season.
