St Charles Avenue looks like total dog shite from I-10 to Jackson Ave. 65-70% of the business that were once flourishing on this corridor are now closed up permanently. Highly depressing

I can't even comprehend these apologists. It's straight-up denial because there is no 'opinion' about it. The city looks worse and that's an absolute fact.

I see the Navy base on Poland Ave has been in the news recently. I remember when that was open. I watched some videos on YouTube and it's an abandoned shite hole graffiti covered squatter encampment. It's a disgrace.

Yes, but you're talking about ten blocks. The next SEVENTY blocks to Carrollton are, for the most part, pristine. I defy you find a prettier five-mile stretch in Louisiana.
