Astros face a pitcher with a 5.47 ERA. We can talk about Yuli and Bregman, but we won't. Until they do this against more than junior varsity competition, they remain fools gold.

He's one of the worst TV pxp guys in MLB. Our radio guys, although not with the traditional "voices" for broadcasting, are so much better. Blum is really good and he'd be better with a less cheesy partner.

I’ve really grown to like Blum. Kalas seems like a good guy but agree he could be much better. I will say if you watch MLB TV there are some REALLY bad broadcast folks on regional MLB teams

This is true. Looking at you, Arlington. Kalas is definitely not the worst. The other AL West broadcast teams are really good.
I'd love to have Ford with Blum and do the old school thing where you bring in Sparks to do middle innings. I liked getting both Brownie and Milo during games back in the day.

Ashby and Blum was the pinnacle for me. Blum trying to decipher the intruiging observations inning by inning was something to behold and witness.
