Which state is just itching to outlaw interracial marriage?

Do people really think there is one in this day?

None of them. 80% of the population doesn't care, nor should they.

That's because it's been framed as a libertarian "live and let live" argument.
A better question is, why would a state like Oklahoma or Alabama feel its in the interests of their citizens to subsidize men who want to sodamize each other? How is that in the states interest?
Why does the state get involved with marriage to begin with? Why did they originally? It seems we forgot that question, so states may as well get out of the marriage business altogether.

I'm waiting for the first story of a "minister in Indiana that got a phone call from a crisis minister in Ohio that had a biracial couple . . ."

That’s a part of the gameplan. Spread misinformation to make people scared, so they’ll vote for you.

I have a record of an ancestor taking out a lien for his son's marriage license. And it's among thousands of the same marriage license liens in a small Alabama county. They were taking advantage of poor people in the Depression, at a time when marriage was absolutely required socially and often financially for your own economic survival

Are there really people who want to ban marriage between races? That’s stupid as frick. If so, is only white black, or all races now supposed to only marry each other?

Just another fake boogeyman created by Democrats in order to scare their dumb base into continually voting for them.

Roe v. Wade isn’t the only so-called “trigger law” language Mississippi has.
If the U.S. Supreme Court ever overturns its 2015 ruling legalizing gay marriages, Mississippi has an existing law — even a provision in the state Constitution — banning same-sex marriage.
The language is simple and to the point.
“Marriage may take place and may be valid under the laws of this state only between a man and a woman,” the Mississippi law reads. “A marriage in another state or foreign jurisdiction between persons of the same gender, regardless of when the marriage took place, may not be recognized in this state and is void and unenforceable under the laws of this state.”

Dems really believe the Supreme Court will undo gay marriage and go as far as to outlaw interracial marriage. The panic after the Roe decision is unreal.

Alabama repealed its miscegeny law 33 years after Loving.
Louisiana to this day has an anti-sodomy law on the books that would be effective if Lawrence v. Texas were abrogated.
EBR cops arrested someone on it not too long ago.

Sodomy is still charged in rape/abuse cases in many states

I just think they need to get out of the marriage business entirely.
Another great question is: "Who will sue and appeal all the way to SCOTUS to get this overturned?" SCOTUS can't do that all on their own.

If it’s arse rape isn’t that the appropriate charge per the penal code?

If Vermont outlawed interracial marriage, would we even notice?
Whitest state in the country, also one of only two still approving of POTATUS.

Sodomy also includes oral sex in a number of states, not just the Hershey Highway.
