Seriously, who are these people? These masks cannot stop dust and asbestos particles, not to mention perfume and cologne particles and yet whilst traveling this past week I saw people in 4 different states wearing masks outside, and while driving. My estimates were at least 10% of the population, higher in more blue cities still wearing masks.

Many were young 20 somethings who from all experiences do not look frail, all the while constantly touching their face with their hands to adjust the mask. In conversations with two of them, they were both fully vaxed and boosted.

I had a double-masker in their car (alone) next to me on the way in to work this morning.

But this is a rather liberal city, so not surprising. The virtues must always be signaled.

Best I got is one healthy girl I know, about 35, still wears a mask because she got Covid real bad (hospital, etc) about a year ago and she says she "doesn't want to go through that shite again"
I don't bother trying to tell her the mask isn't going to help.

It’s getting really hard to not say something to these idiots STILL wearing masks.

Was at Rouses yesterday checking out behind a 60-something Asian lady who was paying in EXACT change (took her 2 minutes to get the dollars AND coins out if her purse) who had a mask on barely covering her mouth and not the nose. I really felt like saying ‘Why are you still wearing that, and wearing it like THAT?’

Some people will wear masks the rest of their lives. Its gotta be a combination of fear and mindless sheep just following blindly. I see a lot of middle school and high school kids wearing them around town. Might have become a type of security blanket for some people, especially if they are shy or not confident. This is the psychological damage we all expected would happen to kids.

I’m over Covid as much as anyone but why in the world do people care if someone else wears a mask?! It doesn’t have any affect on me! If they want to wear a mask while they sleep in their own bed, go for it. As long as I’m not forced to wear one I don’t care. Quit worrying about everyone else.

I was in the Denver/Estes Park area all of last week, and in Dallas the entire week before. The difference in the number of people walking around in masks what is mind blowing. There were full families walking around outside in Colorado in N95’s. I felt so sorry for the kids.

I never judge people wearing masks. You never know what sort of health issues people have. The only time I am a little perplexed is when someone is driving a car alone with a mask.

Some are wearing mask because they have or had covid. They don’t want to spread it. Just had covid and was testing positive days after

Why would this bother you? It's their life. I'm sure some of them hate carrots and you can't believe that because you love carrots and can't believe anyone else can't stand the taste of them. Just stay in your lane. Those people have zero to do with you.
