Girlfriend (no pics) and I are looking for some date night recommendations in the Lafayette area. Not looking to get too dressed up so somewhere fairly casual. I've recently been to Pamplona (excellent) and Bon Temps (also enjoyed) so something other than those two.

What exactly does this mean in the context of going out to eat in Lafayette? Are you not wanting to put on your dressy jeans?

Tampico's or La Fonda's.

Sushi Masa is damn good, but there’s usually a lengthy wait at peak time
Dragos on Johnston, but I haven’t been. If it’s as good as the Metairie location, you’ll be satisfied
Bone Fish is also a solid place

Imonelli's on Johnston St
Antoni's in oil center
Uncle T's in Scott
Central Pizza downtown
Riverfront, Dupuy's, or Shucks in Abbeville. I know you said Laffy, but these are close enough and worth the drive
these are just a few I didn't see listed above. all of the other recs are good as well

Depends on what you're in the mood for but.....
Central Pizza, Social, Half Shell, Sushi Masa, Antoni's, Marcello's, Mazen are all great options. I actually enjoy Pour in Youngsville. They have a very underrated burger. If you pick Social, get an old fashioned and the smoked fried chicken.
