They need to make a ford maverick type truck. They need to reenter the small truck market. There’s absolutely no reason why the frontier is $30,000 when the maverick is $20,000.

It’s a damn shame more Baw Types don’t buy the Tundra. Toyota shits all over Government Motors.

That’s because, unless I’m mistaken, the Frontier is in the Ranger’s class, not the Maverick’s.

But yes, given the Maverick’s popularity, there is a clear market for $20k trucks.

You said if they made that size you’d be super happy. They do

Neither of those trucks look like the 93 S10. Updated with today's tech internally, but leave the engine pretty much the same, I'd buy that exact S10 right now.

I was always a Datsun, Nissan Hardbody, and now Frontier fan.

First truck was a Datsun.

Then did look at Toyota in the 1980's.
Went with Nissan as they gave you more truck, more options, for less money.
1987 Z24 engine was stronger than the Toyota 4 banger back then.

Second I bought new 1987 Nissan Hardbody 4x4 that I used for years riding in the desert. My son still runs this truck today. Original engine, transmission, modified rear end, and AC still work. I had it repainted twice in the oem color.

Third, my wife bought me a new 1995 Nissan Hardbody 4x4 3.0 V6 fuel injected for x mas. The dealer put Nismo parts on it, and it was not done until December 27th. This one pissed me off as it had what people called the strawberry issue. The radiator leaking into the transmission cooler as it was a one piece. I test drove the truck and broke down before I left the dealer lot. Nissan put 3 transmissions in it and the last time they finally put a separate transmission cooler and radiator in it. Never had an issue after that. The guy who bought it from me still runs it.

Recently owned
2008 Titan v8
Titan with cummins - it was ok no complaints
Titan V8

Now I am in a Frontier Pro -4X.
I actually like this truck, but debating on getting the new 4x4 Frontier and trick it out.

No gimmicks like turbochargers, hybrids, or cylinder deactivation.

And 12 mpg. No thanks.
