2. If this is real, I fail to see how it is the secret service’s responsibility to ignore an order from the Commander in Chief
3. If this is real, I fail to see how it doesn’t make Trump look better rather than worse with regards to how January 6th was handled. The previous narrative was that he was feckless and through rumors allowed this horrible riot to happen which he then bungled the response to. This makes it seem like he wanted to respond directly and was prevented from doing so, then fought for the chance to do so.

I wonder if this happened before or after he put out the televised statement. As we all know it "took him to long" to get it out, so if he was trying to get his SS to get him there to do it in person, but they wouldn't let him, then that's a good explanation for why it "took so long."

Dems aren't thinking this thru so much. I would love to see people responding to Rather about how much of a fail he still is.

Also, did someone testify to Trump throwing a ketchup bottle at the wall at some point?
