Ah this question again! Let me correct this for you "what is the answer to evil violence?"
Firearms are simply a means in the hand of a human. Remove that mean and many other means will be utilized to accomplish the human evil.

This is the same response I use for each of these type questions..."Address the humans upbringing, social exposure and moral foundation All of these to which the government has supported and encouraged to destroy"

Gun violence - I have never met a violent gun.

Ways to reduce criminal behavior

enforce laws already in place
public stockade
bring chain gangs back to prison
allow prison to make money off of prison labor
return to dead or alive bounties
return to public executions

Most importantly, quit trying to medicate the fookin sickos, headcases, crazies,bi-polar, manic depressed whatever you want to call them. Need to bring back mental hospitals and lobotomies.

I have a brother that was diagnosed schizo/bi-polar/social anxiety years ago. He does well on meds but refuses to stay on them. Truth be told, if he were a dog, he would have been put down years ago. You call animal control for a crazy dog, they haul it away. Report a headcase ten times and then read about them shooting up a school. Priorities are all back asswards.

If you want any gun control you don’t belong in the Republican Party. You lack the simple understanding of 2a and shall not be infringed.

You could stop the sell of every gun going forward and there are still enough guns out that the gun Violencers (made up a word) would find a way to get a gun. Car break ins, house break ins, etc., etc. So access to guns is not really a problem for the criminals that are doing the gun violence.

Unfortunately, I just really don't see a solution because two parent families is not going to happen. Concentration on education vs running the streets selling dope just isn't going to happen. I am not libertarian to the point of legalizing all drugs but until there is no profit to selling drugs, it will continue to be the driving force behind the gangs.

So, there is no solution ending gun violence.

For crimes committed that result in death(s) the perps(s) (should they survive) should be executed if/when found guilty immediately. Like within 5 days max. No spending years on death row as a result of appeal after appeal after appeal. Once convicted your sentence is carried out in days, if not hours.
Some may think its inhumane but remember a life was inhumanely taken during the crime. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
Some may also ask "what about the person being falsely accused?". Well the accusers can be held to the same standards as the person charged/convicted/executed of the crime.

Over time I think we would see a decrease in gun violence and as a result fewer wrongful prosecutions.

When an individual produces a weapon with the intention of committing a crime, or providing false accusations they need to understand the consequences if/when things go sideways.

May not be a perfect solution but it would be effective. Less incarceration and money saved that could be applied elsewhere.
