You're communicating with a dead person. That is biblically witchcraft, buddy. It's also praying to them. It's not the same as asking a live human being to join in agreement with you.
Intercession infers they have some power, which they don't. They dead. They humans.
Christ makes intercession for the believers. Difference.
Intercession is asking a saint (soul that goes to heavan)to pray on your behalf, Its not praying to them.

I have been feeling a pendulum swing back to Christian values. A Catholic pope would help that.
"Should the Pope be Hispanic, or should he be black? lol Nooo.... I'm serious! They have black Catholics all over Africa! True, Hispanics DO have more money, plus it will help push for more illegal alien donors... er, 'worshipers' in the US. Hispanic it is, then! Just pretend to agonize over the decision before you announce it. That'll give you time to find the whitest Hispanic Catholic in the world."

Obviously, it is non-traditional for popes to resign rather than die in office

I'd be happy to ask the Blessed Mother to intercede with Her Son on behalf of your soul. You know, the way it actually works. In case no one ever explained it to you.
Jesus was very specific that you only needed to chat with him for this
True...but what Jewish boy isn't going to listen to His mother?

Good luck finding a Christian amongst a bunch of idolatrous Catholics.
You mean like protestant quitters who branched off and made their own rules...only to end up worshipping guys like Joel Osteen or Kenneth Copeland?

You may not be aware of this, but... well, of course you're aware of this, but I mean, you know Thibodeaux who died a few months back? Yeah, well, his GoIntercedeMe account is almost at its goal, and his brother asked me to ask you if we could just go ahead and let him in, since we all know that entering Heaven is based on how much money other people give to the Church..."

So you believe everyone who dies stays that way and their souls and consciousness are not in heaven or hell?

Lol that makes zero sense

Protestants are weird as hell to me.
They love to claim some moral superiority when their church was likely started 500 years ago (at best) by a Catholic.

Christianity is not about lineage, it's about faith. This is made clear in the NT and even the OT. You can start off being in God's favor and then lose it when you abandon His commandments, or Jesus's teachings.

I was referring to your hyperbole ridden vitriolic word salad but sure.

quote:
What is an idol? Idol is a graven image venerated and represents a deity.
If anyone wants to know what an Idol is, it's not just a statue or image. It's ANYTHING you place above the Lord. Spending all your time on your phone instead of listening in Church... IDOL. Anything you do that you place over the importance of God creates Idols in your life. Jesus said the most important commandment is to love God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. If you don't want to go to church because you are playing video games, or doing this or that, or decide not to pray like you normally would because you prefer doing something earthly, you are creating an Idol. We all do it. We are all sinners, which is why we needed Jesus.

"So what happens if you put it under a microscope?"
-Well then it turns back into bread.
"So why does it have the taste and texture of bread?"
-It's a coincidence.
"So why do you believe this when it was CLEARLY meant symbolically in the Bible?"
-Because Pope Zanzibar 2 wrote an essay on why he's right and everyone else is stupid, and I was told to believe him, so I do.
"Wasn't he the one that impregnated some little girls in between diddling little boys, and who murdered an entire family of nobles to retain power?"
-He said he didn't do that and that to question him is literally heresy, and I was told to believe him, so I do.

not really, it's the church that Constantine started, when he took at that Roman pagan stuff and shoehorned it in, made it a huge bureaucracy and hierarchy
There is not a shred of evidence to support this Protestant wishful talking point. I’m surprised it keeps getting repeated.
