Our greatest living songwriter(and arguably the GOAT), co-lead singer of the greatest band to ever walk the Earth and the living king of rock, of all music, PERIOD.
My favorite McCartney songs:
Let It Be
The Long And Winding Road
Michelle
Yesterday
Live And Let Die
I'm Looking Through You
All My Loving
Enjoy while we still have him, folks, b/c the day he passes away will truly be the day that the music died.
Happy 80th birthday, Paul.

If John wasn’t murdered…..
The Eagles set the market for asinine ticket prices long ago when George was still alive too.
Makes me question, how much would folks have paid for tickets to a reunion tour ?

Beatles nuts on the board? What would you have paid?
The Eagles in the early to mid 90’s were the first I recall to rape fans with tickets over a hundred bucks to start. Remember this was the 90’s.
What would a Beatles show have cost?

frick that give me an original skynyrd lineup 76' or zeppelin 1970. I recognize the Beatles to be the GOAT but live show? Get the Frick out. Skynyrd and Zep baby.

About what I expected. They ARE The Beatles.
I'd ponder the same fee for Led Zepplin.

An up and coming band called Black Oak Arkansas was outselling all of them for a very short time touring.
Lead singer Jim Dandy was a big influence on David Lee Roth.

I mean I dug me some Black Oak Arkansas back in the day but with all due respect to your local Arkansas band they don’t even belong in this conversation.

Dude.
If you started a thread about Black Oak Arkansas I bet you could generate some interest but this was a very weird spot to insert them.

Not the real Paul McCartney…

In 2007, Zepplin reunited for "Celebration Day" at the O2 Arena. The arena sold nosebleed seats at $250, up to first row seats at $2000.
However, the online re-sale of those LZ tickets averaged $14,000, with the highest price paid reaching $16,800 via auction. I'd guess a theoretical John, Paul, George & Ringo reunion could command tix re-sold around $20k.
