FSU's offense wasn't horrible last year, but they had too many drives disrupted by negative plays. The Seminoles gave up 351 yards on TFL — only 11 teams allowed more in the regular season — and that was a major reason why FSU ranked 105th nationally in third-down conversions (34.9 percent). Once the offense got behind the chains, its drives were typically sunk. Looks like a long night for the Seminoles. The Tiger defense is fixing to eat come September in NOLA Superdome. Our front will have their way ! GEAUX TIGERS !

After the UCLA debacle last year, I will not make any predictions until I see the team play.

I don't think Brian Kelly will be making fun of some random fans t-shirt walking into the stadium or be seen prancing around town with a blonde side piece on game day.

FSU took our $100 Million coach to OT last year. FSU may be better than we realize. Another season opener loss should not surprise anybody.

I'm curious what our secondary is going to look like. Our DL is gonna eat every game.

Well last year everyone was blindsided by how horrible the coaching staff was.

Going into this year, I don't think we have anything to worry about with respect to the new coaching staff being horrible. As they are all proven. While none of those jokes Orgeron unfortunately hired were proven.

Last year was last year and last year was not LSU. Moreover, Kelly wouldn't have been nearly as successful as he has been and for as long as he has been had he not been able to learn from his experiences, good or bad.

Not to mention that Florida State's performance in that game last year was a fluke. As they never were able to duplicate it again for the rest of the season.

Nonetheless, I will not only be surprised as shite but also pissed as shite should LSU lose to Florida State and in which will not happen.

FSU has been improving under Norvell. Should be a solid test for the Tigers.

I think jay ward will have everyone in the right place. He has had tons of playing time and seems to be there. Hasnt made every play he could have so far. If he improves into the ball hawk I think he can be we could be decent back there. He isn't scared of contact but sometimes I worry when he is in the box crashing helmets with guys much bigger than him

Their red is a pretty ugly looking red, but I wouldn’t describe it as sissy red. CBK will be fine.

Force Jordan Travis to actually stay in the pocket and make throws, and then they suck on offense. He's not a true QB, and is a one read guy.

He was horrible against Notre Dame in the season opener, and it was McKenzie Milton who lead them back into the game. Ironically, the was Milton's only good game for the entire year at FSU.

Travis is not a natural passer, doesn't see the middle of the field, and they have to scheme receivers open, rather than him throwing guys open - or anticipating receivers to break open.

They still haven't done anything to help out at OT, which was a weakness for them. They swung for the fence to lure Amarius Mims away from UGA in the transfer portal, but ended up looking like idiots and getting embarrassed with him electing to stay at UGA after the visit. I do like their OL coach a lot, but he doesn't have a lot to work with, and most of their upper classmen are already maxed out.

Their strength on offense is their running game. Trey Benson and Ward will be a nice 1-2 punch for them. Benson is a legitimate NFL back if he doesn't have anymore injuries moving forward. Ward is a carbon copy of their former running back Devonta Freeman.

Has absolutely nothing to do with what will happen in Nola.

Agree. They return a lot of starters and replaced their losses with experienced transfers.
