“They had lunch with Sochan” “so I’m thinking the pick will be Sochan”. Very great breakdown.
Just like how we met with Griffin, so it has to be Griffin at 8. Not like we interviewed and brought in 16 guys.

If you break this down body language analysis wise.
Griffin seems to be running point on this conversation and definitely seems to be the one with the most interest.
Langdon has his hand over his face like he is skeptical and his chair pushed back ready to make a quick exit.
Willie Green is looking at his plate hoping more food will magically reappear so he can occupy his mind and thoughts about something else other than having another nonspacer on the floor.
If Sochan ends up being the pick. I can confidently ascertain that Griff is the one ultimately making the final call/decision.

On a podcast from the Athletic that was released today Sam Vecenie, who’s probably regarded as one of the best journalist when it comes to evaluating nba talent, has Sochan 5th on his board.
I think he said he has Daniels 6th but might have misheard that. He said a few days ago he’ll have his scouting reports, big boards, etc out in a few days.
