He’s the exact type of player that’s worn #7 the past couple years. What’s one more year of giving it to a guy that’s not fully in on the program?

Kayshon doesn't want to wear the cap. No cap?

I'm good with Kayshon wearing number 7, but think he should be required to pay for it.
It adds prestige to a player's name, image and likeness persona.
Just business, Kayshon.
You understand.

This is not a Covid year. He can't opt out. He would have to quit LSU to do that and that would not look good on his resume. It would also make him look scared to compete.

Oh I’m sorry have you heard something new that no one else on here has? Because it’s become pretty fkn obvious he is dialed in and ready to play for LSU.

What suggest to you that Boutte isn't fully committed to play this season? Give specific examples.

Do you think he wasn't legitimately injured last year? He lied about having two surgery's? What specifically tells you that he's not ready to roll for LSU this season?

If you don't have specifics, kindly shut the frick up.

I haven't heard anybody say he wasn't injured.
I have seen his interview, Kelly's interview and have seen reports of his flirtation with Alabama and the money he got from Gordan as a result.
So, you can be indignant if you want, but there is a basis for questioning if Kayshon is devoted to THIS program or just to Kayshon's bank account.
I have also noticed a flood of posts about Kayshon this week on this site which appear to try to rehabilitate him from these controversies, so I find your post and others like it interesting.

“Reports”
Nothing Definitive. Nothing confirmed. Just rumors. Maybe they were true. Maybe they weren’t. Doesn’t matter now. All signs point to him being dedicated and back in shape for this year.

Yeah, thanks to CC for starting the rumors about Kayshon "re-negotiating" with Gordon again in May. That didn't happen & it's what started the small amount of posters here questioning Boutte's motivation.

It seems to me that he is 100% bought in since the spring & I'm going to keep thinking that unless he proves otherwise.

So you going off of "reports." And I bet a lot of those reports are opinions formed because you read them from posters here. There were "reports" on here that he wasn't working out, or involved with the team just a week or so ago. That was quickly proven, with hard evidence, to be completely false.

So forgive me for not throwing a hissy fit, and thinking the worst, just because some jackass on tigerdroppings thinks that everybody on this team wants to quit, or opt out.

If he played the game to get more NIL money, then so be it. That's the way things go now, and he's not the only kid doing that. Would you expect somebody to think negatively of you because you shopped yourself around for an opportunity to make more money? Why is this any different?

Yea, he’s dialed in alright. After threatening to quit twice over money then having to get called out publicly by the new staff for never showing up to shite.

DID NOT HAPPEN.

this news (below) was posted after the deadline to enter the transfer portal & was misinterpreted by Captain Crown and many others here as he "went back for more money". That's not true & the rumor needs to be put to rest. His initial deal was only setup for the spring semester & Gordon did not hesitate to extend his partnership once the deadline passed.

Boutte has been locked in since January.

Post from 5/3/22 - Just a few months ago, rumors circulated among the Tigers sports community that Kayshon had plans to take his athletic talents out of the boot. Fortunately, he put those rumors to rest and solidified his commitment to the Tigers by signing an NIL contract with our firm.

Since signing on with Gordon earlier this year, the powerhouse attorney and Tigers Football superstar have partnered for some exciting projects. Given the demonstrated success of their partnership, Gordon was quick to extend Kayshon’s contract.

Completely different situation. No comparison. I bet you were one of the “Chase opting out of LSU not only is going to ruin his NFL career, but also Burrow’s”, clan.

This is in quotations because it was actually a post on this board that 90% of you guys agreed with due to some preseason drops (only 1 actually thrown by Joe)

Lol
