DeSantis' net worth is $320K; amongst the lowest in a field of presidential hopefuls

DeSantis, 43, has over $21,000 in student loans.
He doesn't trade individual stocks or own property.
His net worth is $318,987, far lower than many top politicians and if he runs for president he may clock in at the lowest net worth in a crowded field.

that's actually shockingly low

So he's not a crook?

Another reason to vote for him and a nice contrast to the crooked Biden family.

He has my vote, but this is almost financially irresponsible.

What was POTATUS’ official net worth before he ran with Obama?
Technically it was negative.
Of course, a lot of that had shite filtered through his brother and kids so it wasn’t “official” income.

When the progressives find out the net effect on DeSantis net worth by canceling student debt……hilarity ensues.

He went to Harvard and Yale, then spent most of his career in the Navy or politics. If he is not a crook, he shouldn’t be rich on paper.

He should wait for 2028. Trump take this next election year and Desantis get himself some book deals. Nice to see he isn't robbing the state of Florida though.
Also why did his GI bill not cover the student loans?

You just have to get into real estate at some point. I've only done the military and federal work and I'm better off than that number.
I'm not going to knock him too hard because I was mainly joking about the irresponsible part. But I just had a 40year old co-worker get out of the military after 20 years and he had his net worth calculated for a franchise loan and he was at 500k after a military career.

Was that before or after the Dems tanked the stock market and retirement accounts?

Smarter than me. He is holding cash and didn't lose 30% in the stock market.

Would be funny if DJT bankrolled his campaign.

That was roughly Biden’s net worth until he got taught the ropes by Obama and Hillary.

GI Bill doesn’t work backwards. He attended the Ivy League schools before entering the Navy. His parents were working class. I assume most of his education was done on scholarship given the low loan amount for Yale and Harvard.

Watch liberals excoriate his low net worth as a sign of failure.
HHTM will join in.

Looks like most of his career was in the military prior to being a politician. Not sure what a JAG lawyer is paid or what benefits they have...I wouldn't be surprised is was lower than a civilian lawyer, but 320 seems really low...I would bet his military pension (if that's a thing) is not being counted.
