Why don’t they investigate the security procedures instead?

Or address the offers of 20k NG troops by Trump/SecDef?

Or make all the video surveillance available for public use?

Or explain why they ignored Intel that there might be dangerous elements planning to infiltrate the protesters?

I thought protesting was good?? Damaging property is good right???

If it’s good enough for the left then it’s good enough for the right.

I hope it becomes a frequent event.

The first sentence is a lie. Didn’t read any further. Sad, in a big way,

Typical CNN reader. Read only the headline and makes a final determination. That's the truly sad part about society today

So Al Gore conceded the election and it never made it to the USSCT?

Al Gore ran out of legal options and then stopped fighting. Trump brought nothing of substance to court, so each lame suit was thrown out. But he kept on whipping people into a frenzy and breathlessly putting forth new theories each week.

Neither Gore nor Hillary were graceful about it, with both grumbling for years about getting screwed, but neither tried to short circuit the system like Trump did.

ETA: Hillary cheated and lied, committing acts similar to Watergate, imo.

So, you don't think all the election laws that were changed to help democrats are fishy?

You don't think there was any ballot harvesting going on?

quote:

They marched to the capitol and broke in, destroying property, assaulting police,

People who actually did these things should be punished. They caused thousands of dollars in damages! Thousands!

But what about those roots that killed and injured so many more and caused billions of dollars of damages? They may have been a million times more destructive than these riots? Should they be punished?

Would you be crying for them if they were held in jail without bail? If you can say yes, you are consistent.

quote:

attempting to disrupt what had happened for 200 years- peaceful transfer of power.

That's a load of crap and you know it. If that is what they were trying to do, why didn't any of them have guns on them?

If they were trying to do what you say or was the biggest fail ever. If was simply a riot. That some people allowed to happen.

quote:

Watergate was small potatoes compared to this.

Not to be mean, but it was small potatoes when it happened.

quote:

Baffled that people would put party over country and not want him to be held accountable.

Trump told people to peacefully let people know how they felt.

quote:

Patriotic Americans should not want anything less than holding him responsible for the death and destruction that never would have happened if he would have behaved like Al Gore did after a tightly contested election and graciously accepted the decision- even if he vehemently disagreed with the outcome.

Trump told people to go home.

And it wasn't stolen from him like what happened to Trump.

Trump one what was happening and didn't do anything about it beforehand. That's on him. I will agree with you there.

But he did accept it. There was a peaceful transfer of power.

Man I've read some dumb things here, but that may take the cake...

I mean almost everything you said is objectively wrong.

People want a leader, not an arse (regardless of his accomplishments). He was such an arse that we got freakin’ Joe Biden - the worst, poorest choice there was - elected.

I blame all of this on Trump’s weakness - his ego. One larger than the country he serves.

It is time to move on to better, smarter, choices and let this one die on the vine. I could give a shite what goes on with him moving forward.

Bring on DeSantis.

Everything in that is accurate, researched, and footnoted, and Cleared by his lawyers. The stole this election, and this is something you don’t have to doubt, you can feel this one in your bones, it’s just plain truth…
