Going into the LSU game had 9.5 innings pitched on the year and proceeded to go 4.5 shutout innings against LSU. Against Ole Miss today he came in and 4 pitch walked the first guy, HBP the next guy first pitch, threw a ball on the 3rd guy and got taken out. Literally had a career day vs LSU.

He should have walked 3 in a row against us, but we swung at ball four three straight times I believe.

He shouldn't have lasted long against us.

I don’t understand

Mainieri left us absolutely loaded. I mean we had 3 good hitters that Johnson inherited

We should’ve been able to beat everybody

That’s just sports. Every team has that happen eventually.

LSUs first 3 batters would have walked if they were not swinging wildly at everything he threw.

Why do some people think LSU is the only team with good baseball players? No, we shouldn’t beat everybody just because we have three good hitters.

THIS. It was the sequence that lost us the regional. First off scholarship baseball players need to be smarter on their own, but coach should have called them over and made them take.

He walks the bases loaded, we chase him, and we either win that game or deplete their bullpen for the next.

Whenever this happens against LSU in baseball (career day), it's usually a left hander with a 5+ ERA that sucks against everyone else. It seems to be our kryptonite.

The Angels have the two best players in Trout and Ohtani and yet they lost like 13 in a row.
