It is a matter of fact, however, that they commit crime at a lower rate than citizens, so while there are reasons to be concerned about the illegal population here, we can at least know that our safety is not one of them.
Now that we know this, we know that any politician who campaigns on the idea that illegals make us less safe is a liar, and anyone who votes for such a politician for that reason is a fool.

Identity theft and hit-and-run are two examples of crimes that illegals commit more frequently than citizens do.

An illegal immigrant has no right to be here therefore any crime they commit is an unnecessary addition whether or not it impacts the crime rate and they do commit crimes but what you fail to realize is many precincts do not distinguish between illegal or legal status when compiling crime statistics.

Since you admit that they commit some crimes then this statement is false.
There could be 1 billion illegals here and only one of them commits a singular crime and that would still raise the crime rate more than it should have been.
In a law abiding border protecting society there would be absolute zero crimes committed because there should be no illegals. Anytime they commit a crime the community is less safe than it should have been with a protected border

I appreciate the firm virtue signaling and know that there are numerous reasons to be concerned about illegals and the border. I’m only sharing the proven fact that their presence is not a threat to our collective safety.

Any additional crime that they commit against a citizen of this country is one that should have never occurred in a just universe. We agree that their crimes committed in addition to being in this country illegally is >0. So yes their presence DOES make Americans less safe. We can disagree about at what margin but there is zero doubt that Americans are more at risk to experience crimes committed against them by having illegals on this country as there is more total crimes committed.

Illegals shouldn’t be here committing crimes in the first place. What don’t you get about that? One crime committed by any illegal is too many. Go to another country and commit a crime, you’d be dealt with, harshly. Here they get special treatment and you are condoning that crap.
