Not really. It's an anti-Trump protest. If you really believe the Cheneys and Ryans of the world like or support DeSantis....smh. If Desantis were to win the nomination they would quietly undermine him if he rejected their neocon establishment agenda. In other words, as of now their support is predicated on the fact his name isn't Trump. It's superficial.

Trump needs to run on his record and not attacking other popular Republicans. If the keeps that up, he could lose due to shooting himself in his thin skinned foot.

There is no chance Trump could win. No Democrat and many republicans won't vote for him. He is too toxic. I voted for him both times but realize if he is the candidate the Dems walk right back into the WH.

Trump is a proven quantity, as the OP's points assert. RDS is a Governor and had a dog fight win against a raving lunatic Progressive Dem in Florida. Like others, I want to see more of DeSantis before elevating him over Trump as POTUS, even though he might win with support of Globalist power (RINOs, Dominion, MSM, Family-centered Dems, etc.). I don't trust DeSantis, and did not trust Trump before he proved his metal.
