I’m sure Bianco’s LSU career hasn’t turned out exactly like he had hoped, but as an LSU baseball fan I freaking love the way that kid plays the game.

Anyone else remember when Jared Mitchell tagged up from 2B and scored on a flyout to deep right vs Auburn?

Bianco’s baseball IQ is through the roof. He his without a question the best base runner on the team

His athleticism is highly underrated too. He just can’t hit unfortunately but he’s a solid guy to have on your team. Good baserunner, plus speed, and can play almost every position in the field at least at an above average level.

Hear me out. The hit was a 3-2 2 out hit. If he’s on first, he’s running on the pitch and likely scores anyway in my opinion

Yes that’s actually what I meant. Bianco is a smart base runner and the call to put him in was a gutsy move. It worked out because Bianco made a great read.

He hasn’t had a lot of work, but he’s made absolutely critical plays on big games to help us advance. Like an inordinate amount based on playing time.

I can only remember one bone head play like two years ago when he threw the wrong bag from CF, but other than that when he’s in he’s played like a coaches kid.

No way he score from first even if he got the best jump ever…coach wouldn’t have sent him regardless

No fricking way.

No one scores from 1st on a single up the middle.

Would have definitely been a close play at the plate in that scenario.
Dude, where are y’all getting this shite from?

No one, not even the fastest players can score from first on a single up the middle.

Not when you are running on the pitch versus a right hander on the mound. He’s basically at second when the ball crosses the plate. And he’s rolling through second.
No. Just stop.
