Hard water is calcium carbonate dissolved in your water. No amount of filtering will get it out. To do that, you need a chemical reaction. What you need is a water softener not a filter.

This.

We have a whole house filtration system to purify our water but it remains hard and is awful on faucets, shower heads, coffee pot insides, etc. You need a water softener. We didn't get one because I hate the feel of softened water. But I now regret we didn't get one and at some point if I replace all my expensive faucets I will get a softener!
