1000 Gallon Underground Propane Tank

AMERIGAS was supposed to install my underground propane tank for my new construction today, however the phone call I received this morning from them stated they don’t have any 1000gal tanks in stock. Does anyone know of a place that builds/sells tanks?

where you at baw?
Amerigas sucks but they aren't wrong 1000s are harder to come by. They probably have them on hand but don't want to give them to a residential user who is going to fill once or twice a year if that

Pick literally any other company than this. Trust me, if you aren't already under a contract with them, find someone else.

It is Amerigas. He's lucky they told him at all. If he's residential, he's lucky they even gave a shite enough to sell him anything.

For liquid from being cold instead of pressure, then he needs a vaporizer

Delivery times on heads to fabricate one is 20 weeks. I am trying to get an emergency compressor skid which would take 6 weeks but heads for inlet separator is 20 weeks before than can start to be fabricated.

We had to load up the kids and dogs and drive to in laws for a weekend this winter bc these dipshits delayed filling our tank for a month despite me calling repeatedly. (yes we could've survived w other heat but it was in the teens and in laws are 1.5 hrs away). They suck. Their estimated usage app is pretty accurate but what good does it do if they don't fill in time?

Went through the exact same issue with Amerigas. They suck.
Call LACOX in Hammond, I passed by their yard the other day and they had tons of tanks. I saw 250's, 500's, and bigger.
Also, Vacherie fuels is good too.

They have many problems most of which are of their own creation. Like many other companies, though, they have embraced the "pandemic" excuse for the state of their company.
Amerigas has been buying up smaller propane companies for the past several years. They consolidated many and closed others. They have drastically downsized their customer service and have pretty much done completely away with in-person offices (which is terrible in the propane business being that they deal with a bunch of old folks who prefer coming into the office to pay and resolve problems).
Amerigas laid off or outright fired thousands of customer service people and bookkeepers. They've turned their operation into something like the "AT&T model". They do not value residential customers and have worked to decrease the number of residential customers they carry. They have refused to hire competent service techs who do installs and such. It isn't a Covid thing.....that was going on a couple years before then. People don't want to work for them because they are a shite company top to bottom. They are a nightmare to deal with if anything are all goes wrong.
I had family who worked for them and I watched them not just go to complete shite, but drag down other good companies with them.
