He put us behind with self inflicted wounds, and just gave back both runs we scored. I guess I'm not as easily impressed.

He will be a stud next year with this coaching staff!

Btw… radar was off! Floyd was throwing 95 at almost 100 pitches! Impressive

Pitched well. BUT his mishaps on a throw to 1st earlier and his inability to field a ground ball earlier this inning is basically the difference right now. That’s 2 easy “outs” that led directly to runs.

...against the best team in the country.

But our “fans” will still shite all over him cuz we’re losing.

Hear, hear! We’re going to Omaha this year, no doubt in my mind about it watching this team battle tonight. Tennessee is being put on notice. They’re beatable.

Game would be tied if it weren’t for his 2 errors. And we’d be winning if he also didn’t walk a run in. Instead it’s 5-2. Idk in what world that’s “solid.”

It's not that we're losing. It's that he gave up 5 runs in less than 5 innings. That's not anything above the expected. We were going to need something better. The offense can still come back, but now we're asking our bullpen to be nearly flawless the rest of the way.

"But this game doesn't matter"... Ok, then let's all go to bed.

Y’all can keep ignoring facts to pretend he had a good game but in reality it was nothing more than a poor outing at best

Abut half of his pitches are uncompetitive and it’s why he walks so many and can’t control his pitch count. Couple that with the errors and this was a subpar night.

Tennessee has averaged around a run per inning all season, so Floyd was average at best.

He pitched alright but his walks and fielding cost us about 4 runs.

Lol “facts”

I’ve learned my lesson not to argue with people like you. You know absolutely nothing about baseball.

He factually was mediocre at best, and his total package was subpar.

Did a very good job, pitching wise. Have to find second starter, he's it.
